Physiotherapy can help with a wide range of conditions, including but not limited to pain, reduced mobility, aches, headaches and reduced agility when playing sports. You do not need a GP referral to receive physiotherapy if you self fund your treatment. However if you intend to claim all or part of your treatment costs back a GP referral is usually required by your insurance company. Often this referral can be carried out quickly by your local GP and sometimes will be conducted over the telephone.
We work with a wide selection of insurance companies. Some of the companies will pay us directly for your treatment, others will ask you to pay us and then claim back all or a proportion of the fees. We can advise you of the process to follow when you get in touch with the team.
